An Abomination Against God

Yesterday in California there was a court ruling that said that homosexuals can marry. Leviticus 18:22 "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination."Lev. 20:13 "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death". The Bible strictly prohibits any homosexual activity. In Lev 18:25 we are told what will happen when the land is defiled. "for the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it,and the land will vomit out its inhabitants". This is a warning to us. The land will vomit us out. Many scholars believe that the Bible leaves out the U.S. in the final days. If the land vomits us out for the immoral things, we allow, then they are right.

The apostle Paul calls homosexuality "shameful" and the result of being given up by God to "vile passions" Romans 1:24-27. In 1 Cor6:9,10 we are told that the homosexual or sodomites will not inherit the kingdom of God. Paul shows that homosexuality is the final rebellion against God. Romans 1:18-32 tells us what is happening, it is as true today as when Paul wrote Romans. In verse 32 he says "those that practice such things are deserving of death, not only the same but also approve of those who practice them." If we allow this ruling to stand we are approving of those practices.

The Bible makes it clear that homosexuality is a sign that a society is in the last stages of decay. In everything around us we can see this decay. We as the Body of Christ must stand together and fight against this decay. If we do not what type of future does our children and grandchildren have. We need to let our political leaders know that we will not support any erosion of our moral fiber. The life of this country depends on it.

Its certainly looking like the end. People believe what they want to believe... they can't believe a loving God would send a homosexual to hell because that person appeared to be a good person otherwise.

What is equally disturbing about these judges is that its their job to interpret the law, not rewrite it. And the law was against this same sex marriage stuff. They declared it unconstitutional.

Is it their job to "judge the Constitution?"

and isn't the fact that they use a rainbow, a symbol of God's promise never to destroy the entire earth by flood again for such vile sins, to represent their community?

Thank you tkwi for you comment. I agree it is suppose to be the job of a judge to interpret the law. It has been a problem for quite a while with them writing law from the bench. It is a mockery of the promise that God made to use the rainbow as their symbol.

I think the American Christian congregation should take a stand and ask God for forgiveness and His intervention in the country. we can't keep talking abut it alone.

Thanks Channelofhealing I had a lot of readers from California over the weekend but no comments. I believe we have to take a stand. I think that all Churches should be hearing this from the pulpit.

You know this topic was brought up on
Blogcatalog discussion last week, but I did not leave a comment. Every one of the posters seemed to be celebrating the so-called Victory that was achieved.... Equal rights for all couples. It's sad.

Several months ago homeschooling was banned in Ca after Christian parents pulled their kids out of school because there was a law passed saying kids who were transgendered could use any restroom at school they wanted. California had also removed offensive terms like "mom" or "dad" from textbooks, so as not to offend gay families.

But fortunately, the ban on homeschooling was overturned.

I spent the first 8 years of my life in California, and I'm glad I no longer live there, nor raise my family there.
