The Book of John gives us a look at how we are to treat each other. In John 13:34 & 35 Jesus gives us a new commandment, and gives us a test of Discipleship. In John 14:21 Jesus tells us That "he who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me". John 15:12 " This is My commandment that you love one another as I have loved you." In 14:15 Jesus said " If you love Me, keep My commandments". All of these verses are Jesus speaking, they are not an option, but a commandment.
The body of Christ must commit this as a way of behaving. Jesus said that his disciples would be known by their love for one another. Are we known for our love, true agape love? To many times we get into arguments over small things. These disputes, unkind criticism, schism, and defamation of character are not what Jesus wants from us. In John 14:24 Jesus says " he who does not love Me does not Keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent me'. Are we keeping His word?
Jesus loved us with an unconditional love. His love was always to provide the best to others. Our priority is to love one another, all of the body of Christ, not just those we attend church with. Jesus did not die for a individual church, but all who call on His name in true repentance. We can not be His with out this love for each other. We cause many to fall away with our petty arguments. Many sinners look at us and say there is nothing but strife among them, why join them. Why become a Christian, there is no love or peace.
Remember that Jesus suffered for us. The love He showed for us is the love we are to give to one another. We are to bear with other's sins, with stabbing remarks and treatment. This is hard for us to do, but as we are a temple of the Holy Spirit we can. His love has been poured out into our hearts and we can ask Him for his grace and guidance to love as Jesus did. Jesus said in John 15:14 " you are My friends if you do whatever I command you." Would He call us His friend? I pray He would call me His friend.

Our Sacrifice
In Isaiah 1:11 The Lord says "to what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to me. I have had enough of your burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle.I do not delight in the blood of bulls or lambs or goat." He continues on in verse 13 to say "bring no more futile sacrifices."
The last statement is the real heart of what the Lord is talking about. The people were bringing their sacrifices because they were required to. There was no love for Him in them. Their hearts were far from God. The laws of man were what was being followed. God goes on to say in verse 15 that He would hide His eyes from them.
God was not telling the people not to sacrifice, but to change their heart. They must make their sacrifice with a sincere devotion. The sacrifice was required, but God wanted a right relationship with Him. David shows his understanding of this in Ps. 51 when he says "God's delight is not in animal sacrifice but rather a broken and contrite spirit."
Today we do not have to make animal sacrifices. Jesus was our sacrifice and He fulfilled all that the many sacrifices were for. Just as when Isaiah wrote many today worship only with their mouth, not their hearts. If we do not come before Him with a broken and contrite spirit we will not be accept, and God will turn His eyes from us. Mere ceremony will not do, just as it did not in Isaiah's day. We need to examine our hearts. We must accept with our heart the work that Jesus did on the Cross, with a sincere devotion to Him. This is the only way to be accepted by God. Only through the Blood of Christ is he satisfied.

Communion
Last night in our small group we had Communion. We were each ask to have a verse that meant something to us about the Lords supper. As different people read the verses it gave one a time to meditate on what the last supper really was. Several verses were from the Old Testament. This made me wonder how many people really can tie the Old Testament feast to the Lord's Supper.
The time of the meal was at the Passover. The Lord Jesus is our Passover Lamb. Just as he had the Disciples prepare for the Feast, the Passover Lamb had to be prepared. When the Israelites Left Egypt the had to prepare the lamb and then sacrifice it. The placing of the blood is also important. The blood was to be placed on the top, both sides and at the bottom of the door. When Jesus died on the Cross his blood was at the top, both sides and at the bottom (Head, hands, feet). Jesus was telling us that we are to continue this in remembrance of Him, our Passover Lamb. Just as the Jews are were to keep the passover, we are to remember Him in this fashion.
Jesus told us He was the Passover Lamb. In The Old Testament the Lamb had to be eaten after the sacrifice, Jesus was using the meal to show us again by the eating that He was the lamb. He said take and eat this is my body, drink this is my blood. Jesus did nothing by accident He knew what was ahead for Him. He was the spotless Lamb.
I will be taking the next couple of days off. I am going on a Church retreat and we leave all computers, cell phones, and cares of the world at home and concentrate on God. I Pray that I will have a closer walk with The Lord upon my return. God Bless all.

Correction of Children
Today I read a blog on spanking and thought it worth while to ling it for reading. click here It is I believe a law of God that the government is banning from us.
We as Christians are losing many of our rights. We are being told that we can not teach some of the truths that the Bible teaches. This form of correction is banned in many states. Those that oppose spanking now say that even a small slap on the rear harms the child. What are we teaching our children? We are teaching them that there is no penalty for disobedience. You can look at today's youth and see the results of the no touch policy. Gangs are at a record high, drugs are getting worse, sex among early teens is increasing. I could go on for the list is long.
Soon we will be arrested for hate crimes for teaching against homosexual activity. We can no longer have the Ten Commandants in a government building, Crosses are under attack. There have been attempts to ban Crosses from Veteran Cemeteries and memorials. It is going to get worse. Our Government has drifted far from what our founding fathers planed for this country. Our country was founded on Christian principles. Even the readers of the early schools were from the Bible. Wake up America, we are head for doom if we do not turn our country back to God.

Abundant Life
John 10:10 says "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly". The word abundantly here comes from the Greek word, perissos. In the Strong's concordance this word means superabundance, excessive, overflowing, surplus, over and above. So Jesus in this verse is telling us that He came to give us and overflowing life.
As we give our self to God He has promised to return all plus more. He owns every thing and in this verse He promises to give back to us. I guess you could say it is like loaning some one something and they return it much better than when they got it. God in this case is giving His all to us as we give our all to him.
The first part of the verse describes what Satan does. He comes as a thief, to rob and kill. To bring us to total destruction. He came to steal our souls, to rob us of God's blessing. He wants to destroy our bodies through sickness and accidents. What a contrast to our loving, giving Saviour.
Christ came to Earth to defend life. He also calls us to do everything that we can to improve the lives of those around us. He wants us to preach the word not only with words but action. We are to help to relieve poverty, disease, hunger, injustice and ignorance. Jesus came to defeat death, but He also came to deliver abundant life.
This is a Covenant between God and us. From the beginning of time God has wanted us to have an abundant and prosperous life. God made everything and said that is was GOOD. He gave this beautiful planet to us. We were suppose to live here and have dominion over all of it. Man was suppose to live in that abundance. When we fell God still wanted man to live that way. To return man to this abundance God sent His Son to bring us again what we had lost.
We can have this abundance. To do so we must give our all to God. Not just our money, but our all. We must turn our lives over to Him, our talents, skills, our all. We must trust Him to deliver what He has promised. If you are sick, know that it is not from God but all illness is from the devil, and God can and will heal. He will get that job you need for you. If you are not living in his fullness examine your life and ask am I giving my all to God. If not I pray you will, He awaits with everything He has for you. He wants to give to you. Jesus said so, so it is true.

Genesis 3:15
In Genesis 3:15 we find the first place that The Messiah is foretold. Even as God was kicking Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden he was promising a redeemer. He was Telling Eve that the redeemer would come from her seed.
All of the troubles that were to come, between the serpent (devil) and man, were told. We see these troubles through out the Old Testament. The wickedness of the people before Noah that cause the Lord to destroy all living things except those in the ark. Even after the flood man again turned against God. We have such short memories.
The Gospel has it first proclamation here. We today know that the seed of Eve was Jesus and that he fulfilled all that was foretold in Genesis. As the serpent was striking at the heal of Jesus he crushed the serpents head. All of what Jesus would do is told here in a miniature form. All of the power we had turned over to Satan was given back to us through Jesus. Jesus Died as the serpent struck, but death had no hold. Jesus was alive and He dealt the devil a crushing blow. There is a song I heard a few years ago that was a fight between Jesus and the devil. As Jesus falls the count is not from 1 to 10 but, 10 to 1, as Jesus raises, at the count of 1, He delivers the final blow.
Because of all Jesus did on the Cross we have no fear of death. Death has no power on us. We will rise just as our Lord did. We will be with Him that defeated the serpent of old. Glory to God. He gave us the way to salvation as a gift. Christ paid the price for us. Praise God.

Time with God
I read on another blog that the blogger was having trouble reading through the Bible. I do not remember at this time who wrote it. I can understand this as I also had the same trouble the first couple of times I read through it. One of the problems is that we don't understand why some of the things are there. After a couple of times through, things that I didn't understand started to stick. There is a reason for tells us who was the father of who, or how the tabernacle was built. There is nothing in the Bible that does not have a purpose.
One of the ways to make sure you read all the way through is to set a time to read daily and and amount of time you must spend doing so. If you make this a promise to God and ask Him for understand He will open your mind to the wonders in the Bible. Each time I read through the Bible He reveals more, even in those chapters that seem to be drab or boring. After reading take the time to mediate on what you have read, listen to what God is saying. Be still and learn.
I also set aside time to read other Christian books. They can help your growth in the Lord. Many outstanding preachers have written books that are good teaching tools for your walk with the Lord. I set aside at least 30 minutes a day for reading this type of books, and again listening to God for what he wants me to learn.
It also helps to have a time of prayer before and after reading. Before we should be asking for His guidance and for Him to open our minds to His word. Ask Him to clear your mind of distractions. Distractions can cause us to lose interest and not to understand what we are reading. This is a favorite trick of the enemy. But this is a time you set aside for God and our enemy will not like it.
After you have read think God for the time you have spent with Him. It should be a time of joy, so let Him know you enjoy the time with Him. This also makes our enemy mad, he wants our time and will be upset at giving time to God. He will again try to stop your reading. Persist and the attacks will lessen and you will grow in the knowledge of God.

An Abomination Against God
Yesterday in California there was a court ruling that said that homosexuals can marry. Leviticus 18:22 "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination."Lev. 20:13 "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death". The Bible strictly prohibits any homosexual activity. In Lev 18:25 we are told what will happen when the land is defiled. "for the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it,and the land will vomit out its inhabitants". This is a warning to us. The land will vomit us out. Many scholars believe that the Bible leaves out the U.S. in the final days. If the land vomits us out for the immoral things, we allow, then they are right.
The apostle Paul calls homosexuality "shameful" and the result of being given up by God to "vile passions" Romans 1:24-27. In 1 Cor6:9,10 we are told that the homosexual or sodomites will not inherit the kingdom of God. Paul shows that homosexuality is the final rebellion against God. Romans 1:18-32 tells us what is happening, it is as true today as when Paul wrote Romans. In verse 32 he says "those that practice such things are deserving of death, not only the same but also approve of those who practice them." If we allow this ruling to stand we are approving of those practices.
The Bible makes it clear that homosexuality is a sign that a society is in the last stages of decay. In everything around us we can see this decay. We as the Body of Christ must stand together and fight against this decay. If we do not what type of future does our children and grandchildren have. We need to let our political leaders know that we will not support any erosion of our moral fiber. The life of this country depends on it.

True Worship
Matthew 15:7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 " 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far
from me
9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'"
In Matthew 15:7-9 we find Jesus quoting Isaiah to the scribes and Pharisees. He is accusing the Pharisees with setting aside God's Word by their traditions. He tells them that their hearts are not right and that their worship is with their lips only.
True worship requires us to worship with both our heart and our lips, they must be aligned, in agreement. The words we use in worship must pass from our heart to our lips to be true worship. We must have a true love for God to do this. True worship must not be a ritual, but must be deeply felt. All other is just human traditions, and according to Jesus hypocritical.
We are called to genuine worship and praise, not as pretenders or performers. Let us speak what The Holy Spirit has laid on our heart, let them be without hypocrisy. To truly receive all that The Lord has for us we must worship Him in both spirit and truth. We must not worry about what others think, worship is between you and God. Remember He wants a personnel relationship with you, not just words from a book. He wants our love, not false actions.

Are You a Messenger
In Roman 10:14 Paul ask "and how are they to hear without a preacher". This is a message to all of us. The Greek word used here means, one who heralds, proclaims, or publishes. This does not mean that we must all go into public ministry. We all have a ministry, to share on salvation. This maybe at home, work, school, anywhere that you meet people. The reason we are left here after salvation is to spread the Gospel. This past Sunday our pastor said that when he tells some about Christ, he gets a blessing from God. We are suppose to give away a part of the things The Holy Spirit gives us. In so doing He give more.
Paul says in Romans 1:14 "I am a debtor", in Eph 2:1 man is dead, needing life. The only way to pay this debt and become alive is through salvation through Christ Jesus. All of us have lost love ones, praying for them may not be all you are suppose to do, are you the one that God is sending to tell them about the Master? Are you the herald, the one to announce the coming King?
We all are to evangelize our own circle. We are given a gift of eternal life, and we need to share this wonderful gift. There will blessing that follow and you will have the joy of knowing a loved one has come home.

My thoughts on 1 Peter 1:18 and 19
Knowing that you were not redeemed by corruptible things like silver or gold from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot. 1 Peter1:18,19 NKJ.
In the ancient days slaves could be redeemed, or set free, by paying a ransom. This was the type of gold or silver that Peter was talking. To people in his time they would have understood this. But we are not redeemed from our sins by this things. Even gold and silver will become useless, to man, how much less to God who could make all He wanted, or that we need. These verses lets us know that our dealing with God is not a money economy, but a life and death one.
Verse 19 tells us that we are redeemed by The PRECIOUS BLOOD of Christ. The word redeemed in this case means bought back. The Redeemer has paid the ransom to reclaim something that was previously His. Since God created us, we were His, until man sinned. The Blood of Jesus is the price that out Lord paid for us. God The Father offered His Son as the ransom, as our substitutionary sacrifice, and then accepts it back when, and if, we offer it back. Christ's Blood was the only thing that was worthy to pay the price, and it is the only thing that was imperishable in Gods eyes.
If you think about what this means of our value to God and the value of salvation. We were created in Gods image to reign on Earth. We were to have dominance over the Earth. This is shown in one way by Adam being given the job of naming all the animals. God wants us to again have a relationship with Him that does not have sin in the way. Only The Blood of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, was able to pay the price for fallen man. We could only pay with things of the flesh. If we accept this ransom and return it to God, we can achieve the highest human potential and have abundant life, through The New Birth. Remember Jesus said that you must be born again. You must be redeemed by His blood, for His blood is the only thing worthy. Through Christ blood, we as believers, are forgiven and reckoned to be righteous and renewed in God's image.

Some Tabernacle Prophesy
A few years ago I sit in a classroom and listen to a women give a report on the Tabernacle. There are a couple of things I would like to pass along. I do not remember The name of the lady so I can not give her the proper credit.
In Exodus 26:7 we see that the curtains were covered with a goats hair curtain. The Bible does not tell us the color of the first tent roof, but other Hebrew writing say it was black. In verse 14 two more coverings are made, the first here is made of rams skin and is dyed red. The next layer is made of Badger skin( or sea cow as some translation say). This layer is said to left white. So when we put them in order the colors are from the bottom are black, red, white. This was to done to show that sin(black) was washed with Blood(red) and makes us spotless(white) in Gods eyes.
The arrangement of the furniture is also a prophesy. As one entered from the East you came first to the Altar of Burnt Offering. In a strait line behind It was the Bronze Laver. The next two items The Table of Showbread, and the Golden Lampstand, which are placed on each side of the Tabernacle. The next was the Altar of Incense placed in a line through the first two. Then the Holy of Holies. If you draw a small drawing of the lay out you find that it forms a cross. You will also see that at the top of the cross is the Most Holy, the very spot where Jesus head would be.
Our Lord was showing the Children of Israel about the death of The Messiah even at this early date. It is hard for me understand how they can not see what He was telling them. Only He Who knows all knows.
Praise God that He made a WAY FOR US.

Attacks On Christian Rights
The Bible tells us that The Lord made it all. He is The One Who put it all in motion. He alone is why we have all that we enjoy on this plant. Genesis 1 tells us the order He created them. There are scientist that try to teach the truth. When they do many loss their jobs, grants, and other moneys. A few years ago California tried to pull the license from a private college for teaching creation, they lost in court. I have taken this class at another college and found it to follow The Bible and to explain by science that The Bible is true.
Evolution is being taught in our schools as fact, not as a unproven theory. When we put this together with the loss of prayer in school, and other attacks on Christian beliefs it becomes a pattern of attacks on our civil rights. We are under siege. I know pastors that believe that it will not be long before they will be jailed if they teach that homosexual active is a sin. We are called intolerant, but sin is sin. Islam is not under attack for teaching the same thing, they execute people for homosexual active. Yet we are the ones called intolerant, another left wing attack.
We all know about the removal of The Ten Commandants from all Government buildings. The ACLU also tried to force the removal of a Cross from a memorial to veterans in California, because it was on Government land. They lost that one because Christian Lawyers fought it.
We must start to show that we will not be shoved aside. We must stand together as one body in Christ. Pray for our country, it is important for our rights.

End Times Part 2
Today I wish to discuss the political things that are happening that show the end times are near.
In 1948 Israel again became a state. In the Bible we are told that after this came to pass that, THAT GENERATION WOULD SEE THE END TIMES. Hal Lindsey was discussing this this weekend. He said that The Bible has 3 different lengths for a generation, 40, 70, and 120 years. We have passed the 40 year mark and the next one is only 10 years off. Even if the end is near the 120Th year we are close.
Russia must also become tied to Persia (Iran). If you read a newspaper or listen to the news you will notice that they are doing this. We are already fighting a proxy war with both of them. Russia supplies arms to Iran, and other technology. The Iranian President believes that he is to start the war that brings the end times. Shiite Islam teaches that the Messiah comes from Iran, and travels to Babylon. The plans to rebuild Babylon were made by Saddam Hussein and they have started the rebuild. Iran is building the road that they believe must be traveled to reach Babylon. Christians believe that the anti-Christ comes from Babylon and that the Messiah will return and destroy Babylon.
Next look at the wars that are going on. The Bible talks about wars and rumors of wars(Matthew 24:6). There are revolutions taking place, we are at war, Israel has been in many in its 60 years. Jesus that "all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. The next verse in Matthew tells us that nation will rise against nation, there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes, which I discussed in part 1. Then the sorrows begin. In the original Greek the term sorrow used here means labor pains as in child birth.
Matthew 24 continues by saying that lawlessness will abound (24:12). Look at our own Country, murder, rape, other violent crimes are an every day thing. Gang active is on the increase, drug use, along with all its problems, are part of most gangs normal activities. When I was young we didn't lock our doors even when we went to bed, today we keep them locked all the time. The love of many has grown cold as Jesus said it would.
The news from around the World is bad, but The Bible gives us the promise of a better day. All who are saved my His Blood know that as time gets short we are getting closer to Home. We should all praise Him with every breath, He alone is worthy.

End Times
The end times are close. Even the planet is showing us that it is near. I want to talk about this. Look at what is happening around the world. There has been a massive cyclone in Myanmar that as of today has killed 22000. This is near the same area that had the tsunami a couple of years ago. The Hawaii volcano is again spewing gas and lava. We are having earthquakes at a growing number. Food is becoming a problem for many in the world, because of flooding and then the lack of rain. Many are dying of starvation every year. There are riots for food taking place. In Revelations 6:8 it says that there will be killing with hunger.
Even in the U.S. we are having these weather problems, just look at New Orleans, and then at the rain fall in the south last year. A couple of weeks ago we had a Earthquake in the Midwest and the west. This year we have had a record number of tornadoes. Then we add to the food problem with our use of food for fuel. Revelations 6:6 tells use that the price of WHEAT and barley will rise. Look at how much a loaf of bread has gone up.
t
Things are going to get worse. Revelations 8 tells us this. The first trumpet destroys 1/3 of all the trees and all green grass. Wheat is a grass. The second trumpet destroys 1/3 of all sea creatures. Then our water, 1/3 turning to wormwood, and many will die from the water. Then the light of day becomes 1/3 shorter. I think you can see thing are going to get worse on earth.
I believe that I will not be here for Revelations 8 or even 6., but the signs are pointing that we are getting close to that time. I believe that Jesus will come for his bride before this and those left behind will face the worst of these problems, but I think we will see some of these things start to happen.
I praise God that He has a plan for us. That we will be with Him. I believe that at the end of Revelations 3 the rapture takes place. The Church is not mentioned again on Earth until they return again with Him. We as the Church should strive every day to win souls to Him that saves all who will come to him. To show them His love and that He does not want any to go through the terrible things that are coming.

Drawing a blank
Today I went to the cemetery to visit my mothers grave. As I stood there and looked at it I thought she is the lucky one. She is home, her work is done, her journey complete, but mine has to continue. So today I again must ask the Lord for guidance. What work does He have for me now? Usually He gives me what He wants me to write, but today there seems to be a blank. So I must spend more time in prayer. But what am I suppose to pray about? I try to always pray for his will. Maybe He wants me to relax for a day. He worked for 6 days and then rested, maybe that's what I am suppose to do. Mom was in the hospital for 12 days and I was there everyday. Then of course there comes the funeral and Memorial service. I think all of this has taken it tole on me. So I am going to go to my prayer closet and wait on Him that can give me the peace to go on with His work. That is how and what I will pray.

Eulogy for Mom
Yesterday we buried Mom. This is the Eulogy I wrote in honor of her and I wanted to share it with Everyone
Today we celebrate the life of Nancy Wilma Wright Wilkinson . I could tell you that she was born Mar. 6, 1923 in Onton, Webster Co, Ky. To Lois and Ocia Wright. That she was 1 of 11 children, Or how she loved to sing and play the piano, a talent she taught herself. That she sang duets with her sister June in church. I could also tell you that after high school she moved to Evansville, In. and worked during WW II as a riveter, a working example of Rosie the riveter, where she meet James Paul Wilkinson and married him in June of 1944. That 3 children were born to them, myself in 1945, Kent in 1946 and Cindy in 1952. How one summer no ones garden would grow but hers did enough that she canned and sold green beans. That in 1955 she herded her 3 children onto a Grey Hound bus and moved to Fla. Followed by Dad after we were established there. That after returning to In. and Dad going to Calif. She again, in 1956, herding her 3 children together and we traveled to Calif. By the Santa Fe. railroad to join Dad. Again they had to set up their home. She always met the challenge. How twice while horse playing with her sons she got hurt. Once breaking her hip the other jarring her kidneys loose.
I could also speak of the trips we took to Kentucky, and how she enjoyed seeing her parents, and brothers and sisters and the pain she felt when she lost one of them. She loved the farm she was raised on, and the beautiful Green River.
That she was proud of the area she was from. Once as we were traveling in the mountains of Calif. She spot a car with Vandenberg, In. license plates. As we passed it she rolled down her window and yelled “Evansville” . She probably scared the people in the other car who probably though they had a crazy woman yelling at them from another car. Or that she enjoyed the Calif. Dessert and that her and Dad would go there many times a year, and had planned to retire there.
I could tell you how she took care of Dad as he was dying and how much she missed him after his death in 1976. Of her move to Wash., then to Idaho, then to Ks. To join Cindy, to again live for a while on a farm, which made her happy. How her brained turn against her, how her memory faded, and she was often confused. Or the fun she had at her 85th birthday party, there are pictures of this party on the slide show, but I won’t.
Instead I want to tell you about her first love. She loved Jesus! If you talked to her very long you knew of her love for Him. She was always ready to tell you about Him. Teaching at a Christian preschool was a labor of love. How many of us get to work at a job we love, but she did. She could help to teach the children about the Love of God. Being a co-pastor was a love, again she got to spread the word of God. Even through a bad 2nd marriage Jesus came first. She prayed for her children, her family and her friends. She continued playing piano and singing for the Lord and never passing a chance to tell some one about her Lord and Savior. Any time I called and talked to her the conversation would turn to God. One of her greatest achievements were winning others to God. This was always a labor of love for her. On Monday before she became ill I went to see her at the nursing home and found that she had been reading her Bible and doing her daily devotions. Even though her mind forgot many things she never forgot that Jesus loved her. There is a song written about the writer’s grandmother that says “she can’t remember my name but she remembers that Jesus loves me.” Mom at times couldn’t remember my name but she knew Jesus loved her. She knew that when she passed where she was headed. She had not doubt, she had that knowledge. The knowledge that only a personal walk with Jesus knows.
I know that when she passed Dad was waiting in Heaven for her. They enjoyed going to church together. They worked together for the Lord and now they are together forever. Forever they can worship Him that they both loved. They were both washed in the Blood of Jesus. Cleansed of all unrighteousness, by His Blood. I can imagine them together singing and shout His praises, and if you knew our Dad singing was not his thing. I also know that when she left us Jesus met her and told her WELCOME HOME MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. COME AND RECEIVE MY PEACE.
Someday soon, I know I will see her again, and she will be healthy, with a perfect mind and body. She will not again have trouble remember names, or where she is at, no more confusion. There will be no more sickness, no more pain, no more sorrow, only happiness. She will greet me and all her saved family with open arms, then we will all be together forever. What a reunion that will be. Jesus, her and us. The circle will then be unbroken, never to be broken again. If anyone here does not know Jesus as your personal Savior, ask Him to come into your life, and you can have this peace that Mom had through troubling times, and you can see her again in glory. There are people here that will be happy to pray with you after the funeral. I can see her shouting with joy if her loved ones come to Jesus, all heaven will join her in rejoicing. The Bible tells us this is so. The Angels will sing and Praise God with her, for one of hers is His, saved by Grace through Jesus our Lord.
So long Mom, until we meet again on the other side of the Jordan, on those Golden streets where Your Lord and Master awaits. Fly away Mom, fly away home.
